"Break it Before it's Broken"
This project was initiated when Kato got to know about the people without nationalities and visited their village. Surrounded by large factories, industrial waste facility and others under construction, some of the houses in the village had a sign of date sprayed onto their doors; meaning that they were forced to leave their homes by the written date. Not only people from the village, but also workers from the waste facility took part in this “Pull and Raise.” The performance kept going on without Kato’s instruction.

Failing to hold a nationality (Identity Card), what you can do or where you can go can be restricted and also you might be suddenly caught and banned from a country.
According to the stateless people Kato collaborated with in this project, they are usually deported from Malaysia to Philippines in spite that Philippines also refuse their entry. As a result, They should be flown between countries as they do not exist on the paper such as a social ghost.
One guy in one side of two screen video has no nationality; nationality is invisible in the city. Meanwhile, he is invisible in any paper or record.
