Kato had measured the precise layout of MUJIN-TO Production – as an act to ‘copy’– and positioned a mirrored box with the same volume –as to ‘paste’ it. When it comes to exhibitions, artists check the layout of the gallery and makes direction to the inner space. With this work, it attempts to transform the audience into participants through its outer space, instead of the inner space.
