MUJIN-TO Production is pleased to present Beacon in the Night, a group exhibition featuring works by six artists: Yoko Asakai, Yu Araki, Ryohei Usui, Sachiko Kazama, Yukihiro Taguchi, and Lyota Yagi. This exhibition is primarily composed of selected past works from each artist’s practice.
We are currently living in a time of rapid and unpredictable change—socially, economically, and environmentally. In such uncertain times, it often feels as though we are fumbling our way through the dark, unable to clearly imagine what the future may hold even a decade from now.
This exhibition explores the role of art in such a moment, likening it to a beacon in the night voyage. Since ancient times, humans have relied on the stars to navigate their journeys. In much the same way, artworks can offer us new perspectives and moments of insight—serving as signposts to help guide us through the unknown.
We warmly invite you to visit and experience this exhibition.
