This project was inspired by the child-rearing situation surrounding Chim↑Pom members as well as people of the same generation in 2022. We crowdfunded and set up a day-care center with full-time childcare staff in the venue as an art project for the Chim↑Pom: Happy Spring exhibition at the Mori Art Museum. The goal was to make it possible for more people with children to casually visit the museum and appreciate art. We also hoped to creatively create a place for children to stay and provide an opportunity for all of us to think about the issues around developing a childcare-friendly environment.
