Osamu Matsuda + Gedo no Susume, Ways On How to Be Happy (2015)
Video interviews with religious people, installations of objects related to religion obtained in the process of approaching religious people

The work is based on his experience of joining all the religions he was solicited to join when he was a student. It became painful for him to keep refusing the religious invitations that visited his home. He says "I felt small because I chose one religion, and when I joined all of them, I was able to look at them objectively. The artist's aim is to seek happiness beyond judgments of right and wrong, and he has created an installation that includes interviews with people involved in various religions and a collection of scriptures, statues, and goods.
