Using images of a fire (red) and images of searching for ruins (black), Nishikigoi were created to represent carp climbing up a waterfall.
It is said that the carp climbs up the waterfall and becomes a dragon, and returns to the earth again as rain and thunder. This work expresses the repetition of destruction and rebirth through looped images.
